AFTER-SALES / VOLUNTARY LIMITED WARRANTY

Clear terms.
Respect for every ride.

This page applies only to individual Road Hub Bearings sold by ARVEN. It does not cover complete hubs, wheelsets, bottom brackets, headsets or other components.

Warranty period

TEMPO, STORM and RACE carry a one-year warranty from the date of shipment by ARVEN. These terms apply only to products officially published by ARVEN and identified as covered by these terms, according to their material and version. Product registration is not required for warranty coverage.

Who can claim

This voluntary limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of products purchased from ARVEN, an authorised dealer or an authorised bike shop. Claims require verifiable proof of purchase and product identification.

What is covered

ARVEN assesses functional problems caused by defects in materials or manufacturing under normal use, based on complete supporting information and, where necessary, inspection of the product.

Maintenance and use

Damage is not covered when inspection confirms that failure to follow the maintenance guidance, improper cleaning (such as direct high-pressure washing), or inadequate cleaning and maintenance after riding in demanding conditions allowed water, grit or dirt to enter the bearing and caused rust, contamination, lubrication failure or damage. Claims are assessed according to the product's condition and the cause of the problem.

What is not covered

Normal wear and serviceable deterioration; incorrect installation or selection, or problems caused by hub design, preload, end caps, freehubs, spacers or other components; damage caused by accidents, impacts, modifications or misuse; and labour costs, damage to the bicycle or other components, or consequential losses beyond the product itself. Bearing problems related to maintenance, cleaning or demanding riding conditions are assessed under the conditions and inspection criteria in the Maintenance and use section.

How to claim

For products purchased from a bike shop or dealer, contact the original selling shop first. The shop will assess the issue and contact ARVEN if necessary. For products purchased directly through the ARVEN website, provide your order details, photos of the product and installation location, and a description of the problem. Do not return the product without confirmation from ARVEN.

Assessment and resolution

ARVEN reviews the information submitted. For an approved claim, we first consider sending a new bearing of the same model. We may ask you to retain or return products for inspection where multiple bearings, an unusual batch, a disputed model or failure analysis is involved. Return requirements and replacement shipping arrangements will be communicated following assessment of the individual case.
